i remember most of the pictures in your photo collage.... excellent!for 2007? more miles, less weight...peace out, yo!
He said it for me....more miles, less weight. Touring this summer as well!
Happy New Year...
Nice mileage Jill. Happy NY.
Jill! Kate here, from Cycling Silk (www.cyclingsilk.com) - a reader of your blog read mine based on your recommendation (thanks!) and he pointed me back to yours, so it's all come full circle! I've so enjoyed reading about (and vicariously living through/shivering through) your winter cycling exploits. You make me feel like a wimp though - to think that these days I'm daunted by a bit of English drizzle! Oh, how far I've fallen... Anyway, keep it up, keep updating the blog, and as my fave author Ed Abbey put it, "May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view." cheers,Kate
I resolved not to make any more new year's resolutions.
You just need to look up more often! I think this morning's ride maybe says something about what I need to do!
I have 22 New Year's Resolutions...but they're more like, "Things I really want to do that I haven't gotten off my ass to do yet for whatever reason and I hope like hell I really do them in 2007." A few are: go on a bicycle tour, learn diving and get a new job. Nothing to quit, luckily...just new things to try. So much more fun that way.
I'm deffinetly a member of the "more miles less weight" resolution club. I always love your photos and accounts of cycling in Alaska, if it weren't for blogs like yours I don't think I'd get through my workday, and I'd have more excuses not to bike, now there's no such thing as "it's too cold". So thank you. :)
