How far down the ridge did you get? I'm pretty familiar with it and was just curious as I was thinking how beautiful it would be up there just the other day. Also - please tell me you have spent some time learning about avalanche danger. We've lost too many good people in the mountains, especially those who go up alone in winter. Super nice photos! Thanks.
The photos are exquisite. I choose one to grace my desktop on a regular basis, and today it was almost impossible to make the choice! For the record, I can't decide which I enjoy more: your writing or your photography!

I think National Geographic should hire you as their northern specialist. That or at least sponsor you! Those are amazing!
