Wow, no words needed, breathtaking photos. Talented and beautiful. I can't fathom anybody letting you slip away.
...So much for the "picture's worth a thousand words" cliche. Each of these is worth a thousand poets.

great pics...speak for themselves...
Hi! I have read your blogg now for a couple of weeks. Found it randomly while surfing. I`m a norwegian nature photographer. And when I saw your picture of a biscuit in this post, I just had to say hello and send you a link to one of my blogposts from this summer...http://lad-turblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/niste.html
Wow! What amazing light! Beautiful pics, Jill!!
Super photos! You should get a stipend from the Alaska Tourist Bureau. I may have to get tickets to Alaska soon to soak up some of that spectacular scenery.
Yup, no words needed!!!!Nicely done!!!!Peace, Joboo
Gorgeous! I second what Richard said-- hit up the Alaska Tourist Board!Your blog kept me going on the bike last winter, very inspiring!! :)
Love the cookie. And the sunshine. And the pictures. You should have applied for the job in Banff as tourism blogger lady :p
Hi Jill. I've been perusing your blog for some time now, completely envious of your northern existence. I have a thing for snow (and photography) myself. These photos take my breath away. Absolutely stunning. I will look into ordering your book(s) to discover more about you. You're very inspiring! Slainte! (Nancy)
I think National Geographic should hire you as their northern specialist. That or at least sponsor you! Those are amazing!
I'm not very often at a loss for words (ask my wife,LOL!),but those pics leave me both speechless and breathless! AWESOME!!!Steve
Amazing. I don't have words to describe my reaction.
I love to read about your adventures and dream about visiting Alaska. Your photos are amazing. What kind of camera do you use?
I had a shitty time in the last weeks and this post brought a big, massive smile to my face. Powerful images. Thanks for sharing these. As you said it is hard to put their beauty into words.
Outstanding photography Jill ... really...o/o
I'm almost gasping for air at the dazzling beauty of those peaks and you on top of them!
Jill: Ridiculously good images! Thanks for sharing.
Ah, the intensity of the badder times influence the intensity of the best times.
Come on, bring the words already.
Remarkable, You inspire on so many levels...
You on the summit! Think I heard some angels singing or something of that ilk! What an accomplishment to do it and photograph it!
How far down the ridge did you get? I'm pretty familiar with it and was just curious as I was thinking how beautiful it would be up there just the other day. Also - please tell me you have spent some time learning about avalanche danger. We've lost too many good people in the mountains, especially those who go up alone in winter. Super nice photos! Thanks.
That first photo is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Love the cookie, too.
The photos are exquisite. I choose one to grace my desktop on a regular basis, and today it was almost impossible to make the choice! For the record, I can't decide which I enjoy more: your writing or your photography!
Gorgeous and triumphant!Mountain Biking magazine did a review of the Surly Pugsley this month. I thought of you riding in the snow as I read it.
Awesome. Just AWESOME!
I feel like saying Amen because those pictures are like a prayer to God thanking him for his creations.
